Making Gear, need help on how to design teeth.

I'm modelling the model of a vtol for year 12 graphics, and I'm stuck on making a grey gear.

Since I don't have a picture of the physical object itself, I'll show you what my problem is.

I'm trying to join those two sketches on the outer part of the circle.

Only problem is I'm not sure how to do it.

FYI,  Your images on that site are not coming up in my browser (I.E. 9)

Like JD alluded to if you can post some images here that would be helpful.

In addition to JDs image is not coming up in either IE8 or Firefox - looks like it did not post correctly.
