I'm teaching myself how to use inventor and I wanted to make something to 3d print. I'm trying to make ice cube trays shaped like triangles. How can i make a mold out of a solid.

It is now a bit easier with multi-body solids or Inventor Tooling in Inventor Professional, functionality that did not exist when that tutorial was written.

This sounds like a cool project!
I'm assuming you'll be using PLA or ABS to print your tray..? Just a word of caution - I read somewhere that not all PLA/ABS is food safe (I can't find the article but I'll post again if I do) so you might need to do some research on printing using food-grade plastics.
