lookup embedded spreadsheet in derived part

Hi There,

I have a large assembly file with lots of parts. Quite a lot of parts look up fastner data which I have in a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is currently stored in a folder and linked to the parts. This is not ideal as I have to keep the parts in a set folder structure so I can relate this to where the spreadsheet is stored.

Is there a way to embedd the spreadsheet in one part and have the other parts lookup the spreadsheet in this master part, assuming i derived the part through or linked to it some way.
