Logo problem when exporting & printing to PDF-SP2 Bug?

Just after installing SP2 update I noticed that PDF files newly created from an IDW no longer will show our logo graphc (BMP file) at all.

I tried printing to Adobe PDF from Inventor & the logo graphic comes out looking extremely poor (see images attached).

I have been exporting  these identical files to PDF for a long time & the logo has not been a problem. We did not change the logo file.

This is a major problem.

Is there a setting that I have overlooked perhaps? Anything else that would cause this?

Thanks.

Gary

Yes worked fine - tested with export to PDF & DWF, for embedded images & tables. Should be live for download today.

All of a sudden I cannot print or export a file to pdf.  When I do it does not appear as an engineering drawing.  The lines appear as if drawn with a fat marker.  Text and dimension lines do not appear.  I opened one of your sample drawings that came with Autocad and it did the same thing.  Therefore, I am concerned that something is corrupt in Autocad or a setting has changed on software launch.

Hi! Did you just install R2014 SP2? If yes, it is a known issue which has been fixed by a followed-up hotfix.

Please install it on top of R2014 SP2 and the problem should go away. If you still see the behavior, please let me know asap.

Many thanks!

If you look in your %temp% folder there may be an installation log file from this failure; do you have that file & does it contain any info to help debug the problem?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi,

I couldn't find a log file under the %Temp% folder. I did find the INV18271 Fix and was able to get it installed. I just tried out exporting an IDW to PDF with embeded company logo and it works great!.

Thanks,

Kyle
