can someone provide me with a direct link to IV8 web based NG? With the old interface I simply logged in and the threads are there. Now it takes me 2 extra clicks to get there. Thanks.

If I log off and try your link it still does not give me the log in page. it takes me to the threads without being logged in obviously. I still have to log in to benefit from the new features rather than being a person that just browse the NG.

I'm sorry, I obviously misunderstood.

I just go to the NG and log in when I need to post or reply. The site takes you to the login page automatically, so I don't bother with logging in until I need to.

Yeah, but if you wana stay up-to-date with the new posts I have to be logged in. Especially, when I switch between computers all the time.

I can see the new posts without being logged in.

This new NG is really strange.

None of these messages shows in my Outlook Express.

Thanks for the help Mike and Kent. However, this is not what I am looking for. As I have explained in my previous posts (maybe I am not clear enough) I used to have a web based login page that took me directly to IV8 posts. Now, with these links, I have to log in, click on Autodesk Inventor in the Discussion Group Index page then click on Autodesk Inventor 8 to get to the posts. I did not have to do that before. too many steps.

The HTTP and NNTP sides of the newsgroups are not synching properly. They will be re-merged as soon as the synching problems are cleared. -- Anne Brown Manager, Moderator Autodesk Product Support Discussion Groups Discussion Q&A: http://www.autodesk.com/discussion ruivaz wrote: > > I can see the new posts without being logged in. > > This new NG is really strange. > > None of these messages shows in my Outlook Express. > > Rui
