Loft with Rails

IV 7....I cannot get loft w. rails to work. I have a cylinder with a rectangular rib of varying thickness traversining about the radius. I created a rail on each of the verticies by projecting workpoints as the forum suggests. The model is fully constrained. What am I missing?

basslinedesign,

Would you consider posting the model so we may take a look?

Thanks in advance,

I finally got it...whew, a lot of work creating/projecting workpoints, planes, rails, etc. But I could find no way to do this in MDT. Possible in IV with an appropriate amount of patience.

To be precise:
MDT parametric loft feature (dialog box attached) does not have loft with
rails. Thanks.

MDT had me goin for well over a minute! I built the part using surfacing, UV this and that, came up with an awful wireframe mess in a non-parametric solution. So now I am finally forced to learn Inventor, MDT diehard I am.

Sure:). Make that a few minutes....... MDT is not as easy to use as
