I assume you've got 2 x 2D sketches of different planes that are at a distance and possibly at an angle to each other.
To create a 3D sketch you don't need a plane, but you do need work points and "nodes". Nodes is a term I use to describe the
corners or sketches, in fact where you get a green spot to indicate a coincident constraint, nodes also refer to the corners
of any features.
You need work points and nodes to place the 3D sketch.
Once you've got these in place, simple click the arrow next to sketch and select 3D Sketch.
You can use straight lines, arcs and splines, but they have to use work points and nodes as "anchors".
