Loft Help

I am in need of a good tutorial for loft. I am trying to create a loft between 2 SMC style push to connect fittings. 1 fitting is on a horz plane on top of a tube and the other is on the vert face of that tube. Just a simple (or so I thought) 1/4 plastic pipe between the 2 surfaces.

If it doesn't change size I'd use a Sweep rather
than a loft. Can you make a 3D sketch that comes out right? For a loft you would
probably need rails if I'm picturing the scenario correctly. If you want to post
it to CF someone might be able to look at it and provide a
solution.

Have you checked Drew and Sean's sites for a
tutorial on lofts? I think there are some but I don't know for sure
where.

It doenst change size so maybe sweep is a better feature. I will dive into that one. Thanks

I am having trouble lofting profiles around a 3d sketch. I select my
profiles then select the 3d sketch as the rail but the profiles will not
follow the 3d sketch. They just take the shortest path to one another. I
tryed lofting 2 profiles around a 2d sketch and still had no luck. (Yes I am
a new user) Please Help

Anthony,
You say you selected the 3d sketch, does it show up in the dialog under
'rails'? You may want to make sure your rail(s) actually intersect the
profiles.
Also, it may help if you can put a copy of your sketches in 'Customer
Files'

Yes it shows up in the rails dialog box as a 3d sketch. And after I finish
the feature and its wrong. I go back to edit the feature and the 3d sketch
is no longer in the rails dialog box its empty. I created the profiles with
work points and work planes from the 3d sketch. The 3d sketch goes right
through the middle of all my profiles. Do you have to do any thing special
to a sketch to make it a rail? Forgive me I am new at this what and where is
