Loft command problem

The loft command is very finecky (sp?)

I have scketched 4 different "C" shaped lines on different working planes, they are located in a row so they should loft easily.

Inventor won't let me pick any of the sketch's, whats the secret ??

Thanks
Bob

Did you toggle the output to "surface"? If these are open profiles,
instead of closed shapes, that should do it.

Can you zip up your part file and post it to iCF so we can take a look
and further assist.

The loft inferface is a bit goofy. If you toggle solid to surface you'll have
to go back to Sections and click on "Click to add" before you can pick a
section.

There are a few other stumbling blocks. Might look for another lofting post
from yesterday that covered some of them.

All else fails, post the file to ivCF and someone will probably be willing to
give it a whirl.

lol
I forgot about that one. Then you have to go up and re-activate the
profile selection box before you can pick again. There are so many of
those "reset idiosyncrasies" in the dialogs they just become part of
SOP. My carpel tunnels inflame just thinking about it.

They loft fine here. Just hit the loft button > toggle to surface > the
click on the "click here to add" line in the profiles are. Not sure if
it makes a differenc, but I picked the one on the vissible workplane
1st. The walked back from right to left.
