Lip and groove glitch

Hey guys,
I've got inventor 2011 and for some reason every time I try to add a lip and groove to a drawing it shuts the program down??
I've tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it again but it made no difference.
Any help would be really appreciated as it's an important feature I need in the drawing.

Not sure why you would be adding a lip and groove to a drawing, they should be on the part.

Also make sure you have all Service Pack's installed.

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Sorry I didn't explain myself very well. I've drawn a 3D fairing. I've then split the fairing, shelled it then tried to apply a lip and groove to the halves. I apply the parametres I want then when I press ok it just shuts down??
Every other feature works fine.
Thanks,
Ben

Have you installed all Service Packs?  (you didn't respond to this part of blairs response)
Can you attach the file here and see if others can reproduce the behavior?

Click Reply

Click Browse lower right corner.

Find file to attach.

If it is too large to attach here (over 1.5Meg)
first

find the red End of Part marker at the bottom of the feature history tree.
Drag the red EOP to the top of the browser hiding all features.
Save the file in this rolled up state.
In Windows Explorer right click on the filenane and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Attach the resulting *.zip file here per the instuctions above.
