lining up origins

I have 80 step files to bring into an assembly. They all have an common origin that when constrained together make up the entire assemble. Is there a way to insert the step file so that its origins line up the the assemblies origins without constraining each one. The first step lines up, how do i make the rest?
Cheers
Warren

Assembly tools has a couple of functions, like "ground to origin", for example, that might help you a bit on the way. In 2009 it's even included in the installation.

I think if you just import the files in an .ipt all of the files will have the same origin.
