Limited number of files or file size (MB) for DWF or DWFx

All,

I know this is Inventor forum not DWF viewer forum. The reason I post this question here becasure some how I user login won't let me post question in DWF viewer forum.

I have general question about DWF or DWFx file. Is there a limit number of files or how many MB can viewer open and work without crashing.

I have very well built PC but I have hard time to view DWF file without crashing.

PC spec

Xeon X5690 (3.47 GHz) 2 processor on board 

48 GB of ram 

SSD drive

Win 7 64 bit

Quadro FX4800 with driver recomend by Autodesk.

I have DWF file around 30,000 parts and the file size 18 to 25 MB.

I can open with 2013 DWF viewer but soon I turn the model it crash.

I change the setting in DWF viewer to Open GL or Software Open GL and it work but the graphic is not friendly rotating it missing a lot of detail.

My customer demand to use the DWF file to review the design and I don't know how to support them.

I try 3D PDF it is bad too.

We have assembly up to 160,000 parts

Not that I'm aware of.. But we did use DWF a few times here and no one in the office (with regular business computers with 2G or RAM or less) could open the files without them crashing either..

48 GB of ram (Wondering if you've ever used more than 25% of that)

How big is your DWF file?

The one I have problem opening is 30,000 parts and the file size about 21 MB.

Any DWF file less than 15 MB I have no problem open and review.

I have an overall assembly that has around 160, 000 parts and took about 22 GB of ram to open the IAM

And if I open the IDW after that it use up 32 GB of ram.
