letters in text are invisible

I had this problem in inventor pro 10 and 11...
every time I try to type a text in a drawing or to make (emboss), the text I typed just dissapear after I press Ok!!!!!
even when I reinstall the program there`s the same problem....
What is the cause of this? How can the prog work correctly?

You have to go to Add/Remove programs, make sure that the show update box is check of at the top and look for Windows Update Hotfix KB918118. Remove that and you'll be all set.

Well do you know of a way to fix it?? cuz thats the only way that i know that fixes it for me. Had no problems since then.

Autodesk released a hotfix that resolved the issue with Windows Update
Hotfix KB918118.

As I wrote in the first reply to this thread I would go to Google and search on the suggested terms (or search this forum).
The search should turn up this fix from Autodesk.
In addition it might be a good time to update all Service Packs.

You must have turned off Windows Automatic Updates as well or the problem will return on you machine. The Autodesk Hotfix takes care of the problem.

Yeah. By following the steps that I listed before. Then the problem is fixed. I got this solution from a previous post on here.

there`s an autodesk hotfix for this prob but you must have inventor with SP1,2....
