KWIKVIEWS CONFUSION revisited

In June Chris expressed my own confusion:

"Yes, dave. It's confused me 'cause I thought by clicking Top-left arrow in
KWIDKview, I could get the part in the IV default Isometric view."
It was good for a laugh when I realized I was experiencing the same

Chris,
Kent assumes that you draw with the "front" of the obect lying in the XY
plane. My guess is more than likely - as I do - that you draw with the XY
plane being the plan or "top", and the Z values are the heights of things
(not Y).

When you try to click on what you think is the RS view, Kent's program gives
you the YZ plane with the Z pointing left. You are expecting to see the YZ
view with Z pointing up, and from there it just goes downhill.

Kent,
Is there a way to add a checkbox for us set in our ways where
Top = XY, Z pointing "toward you" or "out"
Front = XZ, Z pointing "up"
Right = YZ, Z pointing "up"
etc.,
????

Thanks!

~Mark
