Kent's Multi Insert and Fix

Just downloaded this zip to try on some skeleton parts.

When I run the macro, I get "Run-time error '91': Object variable or With
block variable not set."

It seems that others are using this with IV 6.0. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Does it highlight a line in the VBA IDE?

Would you be interested in trying a Insert and fix that is a Addin. I haven't added it to
the web site yet ....... Two people I know of have tried it and for one it runs, and the
other it doesn't. I guess actually three people have tried it... it works for me on two
machines 8^)

The Addin has a couple of advantages, mainly you can reorder things before inserting them.
Since we lost Browser reorder I have found this is a good alternative.

I would be interested in getting some more feedback if it works for people or not.

Kent,
It does highlight a line in the code. Here is the line:

Set oAsmCompDef = ThisApplication.ActiveDocument.ComponentDefinition

I found that if I open an assembly before running the code, the program
runs. If there is not an assembly open then I get the error.

Thanks,
Kirk

You have to have an assembly open in which to insert the files. Kent
**should* have had some error checking in there to warn the user of
this... Sorry Kent, I don't get to point out your mistakes very
often....

Really, you are missing lots of opportunities then

Still if anyone is interested in trying a Addin Insert and fix I would like some feedback.
.... and yes it warns you if you don't have a assembly open 8^)

You bet. It sits there in my menu just waiting for me to run a macro.
Great tool.
