I am from The Netherlands, so this forum is NOT
exclusive for people of the USA.

But the language spoken/written here is English
because this is an international forum.

(I assume you want to start a Portuguese-version of
this forum?)

I am from Denmark, and you'll also find people from Austria, Germany,
Iceland, Norway and many other countries here. So if you find it bothersome
to communicate in a foreign language; well, at least you'll not be the only
one 😉

There are Danish NG's, but with very low traffic. This is therefore my
preferred place to ask and learn. I guess you'll find other NG's in
Portuguese as well, but probably with limited traffic, as well.

Hey, look on the bright side: You may actually improve your english, too!

Regards
Peter

As others have commented there is people here from all over the world,
and all countries that we don't have embargo's on are encouraged to
post, but the predominant language is English.

Also please reread my post. I did not say you could not post in your
native language. It was a request from me personally, not a requirement
from Autodesk. And what I asked for was that the people that could
write in English also to do the translation, so more people could
benefit from the discussion. Otherwise to be able to properly moderate
the group I should run each post through a translator, and since my
moderation here is done in spare time it would be nice if I didn't have
to take the extra time to do that.

Wow. For some strange reason, I thought you were Vietnamese.
Sorry, I guess that hotmail accounts help to mask one's identity.

I see Marcos is asking for Portuguese, but his email indicates he's in
Brazil?

You learn something new everyday!
Very interesting. I knew German is common in several S.A. locations.

Yeah ... just as Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese seem to be fairly common in
CA as well.

Since Toronto folks aren't allowed to speak English, I'd guess it follows
they can't type it either, eh?

If S.A = South Africa...don't you mean Dutch instead of German?

Teun:

I'd guess S.A. = South America. A lot of Germans settled there a few
decades back.

At best, the language you refer to in South Africa would be Afrikaans - sort
of an archaeic Dutch, so you're not far off.

Actually that would be closer to Flemmish (old Dutch)
