IV7 running slow and fast

Hello,

Hope someone has an answer for this.

I have an assembly that suddenly is running slow, takes forever to constrain
parts to one another. I did recieve the Win XP window that says its shutting
you down a few times as a result of working in this project.
I opened a new assembly with similiar parts and it works just like it is
supposed to, reasonably fast.
I did a pack and go on the project that was slow and moved it to another
machine and the performance did not change, still runs slow.
I have checked my sub assemblies for adaptive parts, found a couple and
removed the adaptivity from them.
No noticiable improvement.
All programs running in the background are shut down and I have adjusted the
performance setting in system properties for best performance.
Also cleaned out my temp folders.
This slow down began a few days ago and has not effected any other project
files.
Ran my anti-virus and the machine is clean.
