IV6 Shutdown/Freezes on Open File

Every time I open a file, place a component, open a help file and open an
idw while in my assembly IV6 freezes. The common theme is when I "open"
anything. Any Ideas why?

Hi Jerry,

With the number of complaints pouring in I doubt you will get an AutoCAD
response and if you have not spent too much time on attempting to migrate
and work in R6 then my suggestion is un-install R6 re-install 5.3. There is
no un-install in R6 so you will have to use the windows un-install. I know I
will catch flack for this response but I really do feel sorry for the many,
many guys and gals like this that have not been told by AutoDesk or their
reseller not to install R6 (THEY SHOULD BE TOLD!).

This problem occurs when you have the 3DConnexion drivers for a spacemouse/ball installed and it is
not plugged in. There may be other causes, but I haven't come across them yet.

I have the same problem, and lot more... But my spacemouse is plugged in and
working.
