IV2010 Pro - combine missing from model tab / modify assembly

Two parts with some interference.

I want to combine the parts for a cut operation.

Combine is not showing up in the Model Tab and Modify Assembly sub category.

I have: extrude, revolve hole fillet, chamfer sweep and move face.

When I create a user command in can get the combine icon to show up but it is greyed out.

Any suggestions?

I don't think combine is valid in an assembly.
