IV2008 Retrieve dimension, not able to drag lines.

I am unable to drag the lines of retrieved diameter dimensions.
It works for normal dims (see the highlighted length dim in attached jpg), but for the diameter dims it doesn't even highlight those points or give me the centerline for alignment.

Please attach idw and ipt instead of image.

Hi Niels,

I am not able to reproduce this issue. What's your filter setting?

Thanks,

My filter was set to "select all" and on "edge priority".
I've attached a simple part that displays the same behavior together with an idw.

Niels,

There must be something else at play as I can drag the diameter dimensions
without problems.

Can you also place the end points of the dimension to the other side of the part?, did you get the alignment centerline while dragging?
(i can drag the value of the dimension, but not the lines that connect to the part)

If it really works for you, what would you suggest i look at as possible causes?

Niels,

I finally understood what you meant with dragging.
And yes I agree, this is weird behavior.

There are no green dots (for reattachment purposes)
on retrieved diameter dimensions.

The centerline to snap the text to the middle is
missing too.

I logged both issues as #944818.

BTW: as far as I know was this type of
retrieval not allowed in R11.

Thanks for reporting this.

Bob
