IV10 Default Weld Symbol

How is the default weld symbol determined when inserting a new weld in a drawing. I had different symbols at different times on the same drawing.

Also, when we are inserting several weld symbols after each other, can inventor remember the last weld symbol we changed to when we press on continue?

I would like to know that too, they seem sporadic

The default symbol is determined by the first enabled symbol in the Weld
Symbol Style (which is different for each standard).
Unfortunately this doesn't leave much room for customization.

I've logged an enhancement request for a couple things.
1. To give the user the ability to set the default weld symbol
2. To carry over the current weld symbol settings to the next weld symbol
when the user continues to create weld symbols without exiting the command.

Thanks

Scott:

I'm looking forward to that enhancement.
