IV and Excel? (OLE)

Can IV (.idw's) have OLE or a embedded excel spreadsheet?

I have been setting up a drawing for a client that wants to use AutoCAD and
Excel to update a chart of various sizes. There are no "driven" parts, only
numbers in a chart referring to standard dimensions for the different parts.
Problem is with AutoCAD. Which can embed but cant handle a large excel
spreadsheet (columns or rows) and will freak out when edited. I thought I
found a add on program that works but it doesn't allow after installation
editing of the excel chart which updates the AutoCAD file. So, I thought I
might look at IV. The customer would have to update the drawing, only the
excel chart.

Any problems that you know of? I will look into it further.

AutoCAD just doesn't work like it should.
