IV 2013 coil weight error

Hello all,

Using Inventor 2013 SP1

A user just point out to me that when making a coil with 12 revolution is OK but 13 is really wrong.

tube Ø54x2 mm

Øcoil = 800 mm

pitch = 55 mm

Is there a patch for that?

Hello, with

12 revolutions -> 155.7 kg

13 revolutions -> 84.3 kg ??

Actually I have SP2 with Inventor 2013

Thank you for pointing this out.

It seems that 12 has the issue.

10, 11 and 13 seem to progress as expected.

It also looks like that material does not make a difference either.

I will be providing this to our developers to address.

I wanted to let you know that I tested it in 2014 and it has been resolved.
