IV 2012 - View change when opening a sketch to edit.

If I zoom in on a small detail in a large skecth and then issue the "edit sketch" command Inventor changes the view to where the origin is visible on the screen. I find this extremely frustrating.

Is it possible to disable this? Any help would be greatly appreciated and help me maintain my sanity.

I just HATE this sort of thing in Inventor or any other program. I know someone will suggest that I "edit sketch" before zooming in, but for me thats not the point. I've been using Inventor for 8+ years and other CAD programs for 20 years before that. If I need to change the view after "edit sketch" I'm perfectly capable of doing that myself and I don't need the program deciding and doing it for me.

Sorry for the rant but I do feel better now. 🙂

Thanks,

Richard in Houston

Excellent! I assumed it was there, just a matter of finding it.

Thanks a ton!
