issues with presentation files when opened in Inventor 2014

My company has recently made the switch to Inventor 2014.  When I open presentation files, everything seems to come in properly but most of the model tree is missing.  I am still able to pick on the parts in order to tweak them, but as I work on the presentation, I have had all the trails disappear on me.  The only presentation file where I get the full model tree seem to be on the ones where I did not turn off the visibility on any of the components. Has anybody else experienced this and does anybody know what the solution is?

First, make sure that you have all the SP's installed and the latest Microsoft certified drivers.

The IPN enviroment leaves much to be desired and is in need of a major upgrade/re-work.
