Isometric does not look at front face of object

If you look at the front view of this object, the bottom left corner was positioned at the origin in the X-Y Plane when the rectangle was originally sketched.

Why does the isometric view show me the bottom of the object?

Thanks

Home View.png

Rotate the view to appoximately where you want it and then click on the appropriate corner of the view cube.

Now right click and Set Current View as Home.
