hello
so i tought id already figured out how to turn Inventor DWG's into ACAD DWG's with the right layers, colors and linetypes. the way i did this worked, but it wasnt the way they wanted it to go.. ( got to love internships 😉 )
so now my question is, is there a way to turn the autocad template (.dtw) into a inventor (.lin) file??
or mabey you have any other suggestions to export an inventor .dwg to an ACAD .dwg?
the idea was: when you've exported a .dwg from inventor and open it in ACAD, all the right layers, linetypes and colors open with it right away.
thank you.

nope there is not, at least not as far as i know..
i found out another way to export Inventor to ACAD, works perfect with all the layers line colours and stuff..
if you'd like to know reply, not feeling like tiping it out right now. but if youll ask id gladly explain..
cheers
