I know you can change the leader style and the text style in a weld symbol...I can't seem to find a style for the parts?
Specifically I'm trying to change the color, I'd like the enirety of my weld callout to be a different color...just for visually tracking and locating on the drawings.
So if I change it to orange...right now the leader and text are orange but the weld symbol itself and the tail are still black.
Hi jyager ,
You're going to want to look into Object Defaults in the Styles and Standards editor. Basically, Object Defaults control which style is used and which layer, objects such as the weld symbol are placed on (layer colors are set in the Layers style). The real key to Object Defaults, is that that if you have two styles such as a weld symbol style, you have to ask how does Inventor know which one to use? The answer is Object Defaults. So when you place a weld symbol it used the weld symbol style defined in the object defaults, but you can change the style of the weld symbol while placing it, or after it's placed, by using the style pull down menu found on the Annotation tab.
Here are a couple of links:
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
