I had a technical question. I'm a product designer for Orthopedic braces, in the fabrics/textile industry. Autodesk designer is mostly for designing metal products, correct? I've used it a bit, and made some very nice looking professional drawings with the trial, was considering purchasing the full version, but I am wondering if it is right for my company. Is this program ideal for merging, stretching, bending drawn products? Can I assemble fabric type objects in assembly, the same as sheet metal, or would there be a better drawing program out there, specifically for textile and fabrics? This program is very wonderful, and I am definately leaning toward the purchase, just wanting to know if anyone could point me in the right direction, or if this would be the optimal program to use. Thank you.
