I was wondering, if I create new propreties how can I insert them in my old drawing.

New custom properties?

Create the new custom property in a file and then use the setup wizard and
add this property to the list.

Be sure to check the "Create Custom Props if not Present"

When you open a file that does not have this property it will be shown in
red...When you click Apply they will be added to the file.

Is this what you meant?

Just a few questions regarding your
answer:

You create the properties in, say, a new part
file.

Then what exactly is the "setup
wizard"?

Have you downloaded the program? If so read the instructions. It's pretty
easy.

It works like Parts List. Select what parameters
you want to show !

Once installed, Sean's app will give you the option (Tools Menu) to
setup the name aliases to all the iProps you normally use.

Yes, you can use the DA to copy a custom property
to another document. Use Tools>Copy Design Properties and choose the fields
and files you want. The old documents will update with new custom
props.

I knew there was something stupid I was doing (or
rather not doing)

My apologies to all: iPropWizard - I was reading
iProperties (deep red embarassed blush)

No wonder I couldn't find a setup wizard.
(duuuh)

Thanks to all
