iProperties Wizzard RELEASED

Well it's as done as I think it can be right now.

Thanks to all the beta testers and translators that helped out in getting
this working.

From the help file:

"sDotson.com's iProperties Wizard is application that replaces Inventor's
standard iProperties dialogue box. It takes this functionality further by
allowing the user to define which properties they will be presented.
Extraneous properties can be eliminated from the dialogue leaving only those
that the user wants to see. sDotson.com's iProperties Wizard takes one more
step by offering the user the chance to rename the properties by providing
an alias for the property name. This allows the user to, for example,
rename Web Link to something a bit more useful such as "Stock Room Location"
."

Beta Testers please be sure to read the Getting Started Document before
running the app in Inventor.

I hope you all find it useful. See attached screen shots.

Nice one Sean!

A lot of users will find this extremely useful.
I've wanted this since R2 myself.

Jorgen

By the way, The help-file will not show up in the Norwegian user interface. It could point to the english helpfile until someone cares to translate it for you 😉

Dang it. OK simply fix. See iCF for a zip file. Close IV. Unzip this dll
file over the old one. Restart IV. The Norwegian help files should now
display.

I have also fixed the source download on my site (so if you want to
uninstall and reinstall you can do that too)

Just a dumb question: How to adjust the size of the main tool bar? The
iproperties wizard button is hidden on the right side of the screen and I
seem not unable to adjust the main tool bar

What resolution are you running at?

You should be able to go into customize toolbars and put a copy wherever you want.

Sean,
Can you add the "DATE CHECKED" pulldown? Otherwise it has to be typed
manually.

Right click on the toolbar up top and select customize.
Go to the Toolbars tab and find iProp Wizard
Highlight it and select Show.

You should get a toolbar with the icon on it.

Nope sorry. That's a bit more coding than I was up for this go round.
Maybe in a new version. Of if you really want it email me and we can talk
about how much it would cost to add that.

The only Norwegian I know is the Beatles song...

I ran it thru a machine translator and it is Dutch. I figured it would be
close enough till Jorgen got me a real translation. The help files are
easily replaceable (HTML files) as we can update them later.

Henjo Edel did the Dutch translation of the help file, I guess.

Hmm, I don't see his post here and I don't recall getting an email.

Adding both Norwegian and Dutch will require a code change. I can do this
but it'll be a bit before I can get to it.

Sorry Henjo. I'll be sure to add your translation and update the dll.
