iProperties (some strings) rewritten on save.

Do you guys know what is the problem when some parts of iProperties are rewritten when an assembly/drawing is saved?

My problem is with the iProperties > Summary > Description field

The cotents of this filed is called to a table (see attached picture). When I try to modify it it works and the data is written as I want. But when I save and reopen the drawing/assembly, the text is changed back to original - blank.

What is wrong?

Are you modifying the description field in the drawing table? You need to enter it in the iProperties.

No I am not trying to modify it in drawing table, but through iProperties. But it is erased when I save and reopen file.

Check document settings, Drawing tab, Copy Model iProperty Settings.

The "Copy Model iProperties" is unticked.

I activated the description and still nothing. When I enter a text in dexcription field it appears in drawing table. But as soon as i hit "Save" it is erased again (actually replaced by the original text) - how do I prevent it from modifying that on save?

post the file here. There might be some ilogic forcing it back.

Unfortunatelly it is confidential. However this was the solution - an iLogic script was rewriting the description. I have found it and disabled it. Thanks
