Both of you are right and I will not vent to or haunt the forum anymore.....

Re: IPN Perspective View save as DWG is a mess

11-19-2002 02:39 PM in reply to: *Cross, Gary
Well, after hearing that it's a defect I decided to redo the views in
standard ISO - not as attractive though.

It's nice to know whether it's a defect or not even though we all wish
everything was perfect. I encourage Adesk to be frank & upfront about what
isn't working as soon as it's known ( at the risk of marketing problems) but
we have some understanding of when things don't work I know how to make
allowances when we know about it.

Still, I like the progress on the software despite the forced charity work I
am doing owing to the software & on behalf of my clients.

You need to relax. Bob is from Belgium, and English is not his first (and
probably not his second) language. He is one of our best QA engineers, and
he is very dedicated to helping customers. Although he could have stated it
more politely, what he said is basically true. There is a defect logged
against exporting perspective views to DWG. Right now, there are higher
priority defects. It will be fixed, but it might not be in SP2. Also, if
there is a pressing need to fix this, we might have to reprioritize
projects.
