Im using 5.3sp2

Are ipart fasteners better (file sizes, program performance) than individual parts?

We are using ipart fasteners found on the web and are assemblies performance seems to slow down after inserting some fasteners.

What is the best way to use ipart fasteners (project paths, file locations)?
