iParts = iPoof?

I get the rumored iPoof frequently when I edit iPart tables and close the
spreadsheet, or add features in the iPart (chamfers, etc.). IV just
disappears, no drama, no errors. Any thoughts?

Dell WS340, Nvidia Quadro2pro, WinXPpro, MS office Xp.

I know your problem, I think it's in the programm. But I get this even when
doing something else then I-parts
I've have the problem that Iventor threw an assembly away, (three times up
to now) ans when I was busy with a drawing template for our company without
notice, wham, IV stopped and he threw away my few hours work template. And
nowhere to find it (luckely I had saved a previous version onto another
disk, so I lost only 1 hour work)
The one thing that the creators of inventor have to install is a backup or
autosave option, but it looks that making this option is to hard for them.
You should think that they have build it in by now or are they to blind to
see?/???

My advice: Make a backup from you work, I've even made a copy of my large
assembly files. It's the only way to prevent from losing to much.

Every time you hit the save button it saves the file to the Old Versions
sub-directory which you can restore. Most if not all of the iPoofs can be
traced to system configuration.

Ah ... 5.3 doesn't have that. Think it was introduced in R6.
