iParts and custom weights

Is it possible to have custom weights for iParts that will show up in the
Weight column of a parts list?

You will need to add the same custom parameter that you are using for your
other parts and parts list to the parent and have that parameter as part of
your table. Then change the weight in the table for each ipart.

I tried that but it doesn't appear to work. Maybe I didn't explain it
properly. In the parts list shown on a drawing we have a column showing the
weight of parts that has been calculated by the density of the material
applied to the part by the parts volume as accessed through the parts
properties window. What I need to ba able to do is over write that value for
the iParts with a user defined value that will still show up in the parts
list.

I hope this explains it better.

Check out the iProperty collection at http://hjem.get2net.dk/opad/. It
might help.
Another way is to modify the material in the ipart so the manual calculation
is correct.
