Invisible Parts in BOM?

Answer me this, oh wise ones...

If I have an assembly that may have several optional parts, I will turn the
visiblility of these parts on and off as needed. Problem is, they still
show up in the Parts List/BOM.

How do I get around this? As an aside, does the API support a way to
generate a BOM of only the visible parts in an assembly?

Thanks,

--Randy

In the assy RMB on the optional part => Properities => Occurence tab and check on "Reference". This will exclude the item(s) from the BOM.

Has this been fixed in SP1?  I know it did not
work before.

Sorry, haven't actually done this in R6. I didn't realize that they broke this ability. I was going off of my previous release experience. I'll have to look into this later. My error.
