I am working with a partner that does not have Inventor, nor needs it. He just needs to see my progress. I was about to send him a link to Autodesk Viewer download and email him files, but after searching through some old posts, I found that more people are converting to DWF and using design review.
Which is better/user friendly and less 'buggy'.
Also if I do go with Inventor Viewer, do I need to zip up all .ipt and .iam files for my partner to open up the final assembly for reviewing?
Thanks

IMO use DWF for something like that. Just export to DWF and send that..
I find that Inventor viewer requires a decent computer to even open some of the files... Very few of our "business" computers here can even open mid/large models at all.
I would also use DWF's for that. No sense messing around with sending him all that data, if he's just going to spin it around and say "looks good".
Thanks mcgyvr,
I just did a test and it seems to work perfect, and simple, no packing files up or potential issues with missing files.
