Inventor to Showcase with Representations

Hi,

This should probably be a Showcase question, but I don't see any Showcase discussion Group.

I need to Import a IAM file with Views and Positions to Showcase. I found several tutorials on this, but

as soon as I add a position in Inventor none of the above are imported. Without any Positions, Views get Imported.

Any know why?

It's Inventor and Showcase 2013.

I had the same issue and figured it out. 

Follow these instructions

Open Showcase:

Click FILE, SETTINGS, IMPORT SETTINGS.

a dialouge box will pop up (Import Settings)

make sure the Import representation box is Checked. 

Click Close. 

Then import your model. 

Once the model is visible simple click a ( Alternative Lineups) 

you will have all the Inventor information on the screen. 

That saved me a ton of time.  hope it works for you.

That was one of the methods i tryed.

Don't work.

And i tryed again and again with diffrent iam's.

I'm not sure, but perhaps it's a localization problem. I've had similar problems, and if I'm remembering right, switching Windows country settings (in Control Panel) to US English, showed Reps in Showcase.
