Inventor to Autocad drawing

Hi All,

I'm trying to put an Inventor drawing (2013, x64) into Microsoft Publisher 2010 and am having diffaculty. The Inventor drawing has multiple shaded views on a single sheet that look fine in Inventor But when I export my drawing as an Autocad drawing and open it in Autocad Mechanical 2013, the overlapping viewports erase parts of views (see attached). Does anyone know why or more importantly how to fix it? I tried turning shading off and that worked well but I'd rather use shaded views. I'm creating a parts manual from Inventor drawings if that helps. Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Mike Stalter

Will MS Publisher allow you to use PDF files? We do that alot with Adobe Indesign when creating our parts manuals.

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

MS publisher allows an Acrobat document to be inserted as an object but not a PDF.
