Inventor Simulation - Rotation

Hi

I have a question regarding the stress analysis environment in Inventor 2015

I was wondering if Inventor 2015 has the ability to display the results in terms of rotation (radians/degrees) as opposed to displacement (mm).

Is there any way?

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean with "Simulation" Inventor Stress Analysis?

If yes..

No, you can't. You have to deduce it manually.

Hi,

Inventor Stress Analysis provides analysis with solids(3D) and shells(2D). For shells, rotations are part of degrees of freedom, so the rotations are availble to view in the Rotation folder. However, for solids, only translational degrees of freedom are available, so rotations cannot be displayed.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks,
Ravi Burla
