Inventor Region Properties on *.idw

Hi folks,

is it normal Inventor (2014) behavior of the Region Properties:

That it will only work correctly on the IDW, if the scale is 1:1. Because on a scaled view, the results will be scaled too...

Or is this tool only meant for IPT and IAM?

Would it work for you to place a 1:1 view out of the boundary of the sheet, Project Geometry, sketch boundary and measure that boundary?

This trick will sure function properly but its no solution.

Why will the results scale with the view scale, this is something I dont get.
