Inventor Professional 2015 won't install

Under the progress bar it's been sitting still and a text is shown saying ".net framework 3.5 support pack". I don't know if it's telling me I need that installed, but I have the latest windows version. I tried installing this from Microsoft and the window hung forcing me to restart my computer.

Can anyone help me with this at all? It's extremely frustrating having nothing work at all.
