Inventor version, SP Updates

OS

new problem/old problem

screen captures.

All the usual information that logic would suggest be included in problem description.

Hi jedenton,

Is it possible the dialogue boxes for these tools are coming up off screen?

If so this link might be tht ticket:

I hope this helps.

That did not work, thanks.

Last week same thing happened and it just started working later in the day...

Could it have anything to do with the license being 1,100 miles away in a remote server?

2014 Inventor

SP1

new problem

nothing on screen to capture

OS? like a graphics issue? or ram?

Message 7 of 11

Curtis, just started working again. Still don't know why though...

Hi jedenton,

I wonder if it is a graphics issue. If you go to the Tools tab > Application Options button > Hardware tab what do you have selected?

You might try Compatibility mode if that is not already your setting.

Also, are you running Windows 7 or 8?

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Joel,

I was hoping that you might be able to provide us with a DxDiag report on your system.

With this information, we might be able to determine if it might be a graphics driver issue.

If you are not comfortable posting this information publicly, you can private message it to me.

Thank you.
