Inventor for MAC

Now that we have AutoCA for MAC2011 , will we get Inventor for MAC 2012? Seemss Solidorks is going that wy. I was happy to see Autocad was getting tere but now I stil need my 3D program on that platform.... Inventor MAC in the pipeline?

If Autodesk does not go along with the corporate market. then their competitors
with asset away and I do not think that it is the intention. Mac computers
are just made specifically for powerful programs like adobe inc. programs.
Many artists want to work with autocad but they do not support mac.

You can run Inventor on a MAC with either Boot-camp or Parallels. Use only one, changing back and forth will break the Inventor Registration.

 

As far as a straight MAC version, don't hold your breath, the corporate world is primarly Windows based. Having a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version, I don't see a big push for a version just for a MAC.
