Are there any plans for an Invetor version for linux(Ubuntu, Mint, Suse, RHLE, Arch, Debian, LFS.. anything exept Windows) in the near(1-3 years) or far(4-10 years) future? Not having Inventor for linux is the only thing that keeps me on Windows 😞
Thanks.
In the long future.. i don't know,
in the short future...i don't think so, in my opinion.

My guess is no, since all Autodesk products seem to be focused around a Windows based OS. There are some Mac versions of some of the software out there, but I've never heard of anything for Linux being talked about. Just an opinion.

You will likely see an non-AutoDesk Inventor clone before genuine Inventor, as this would be a ground-up development. If you are looking to be the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, time to get started.
Here are some alternatives I was looking at
.VariCAD
Bricsys
CATIA
Some of them look pretty promising.
