Inventor Error: unhandled exception dumpdata???

Dear All,

I am a system administrator trying to help a colleague who is using Autodesk Inventor 2014. He told me that Inventor has recently started to crash every few minutes, with the error message "Unhandled Exception". The details of the error report reads as follows:

Application: Autodesk Inventor

Version: 180170000 AIPSA

Error: unhandled exception

Report content:

Inventor 140711102713.dmp

dmpuserinfo.xml

dumpdata.zip 

Does anybody know what this error is about and how to resolve the problem?

Is your colleague sending in the error report?  If so then after he sends it, his browser should open and display an error report number along with any known resolutions to the error.  If you can provide the error report number we can look it up in the database to see what might be going wrong.  If you don't have that, then we would need the email address he provided in the report.   Without an error report number or an email there is no way for us to identify his report to see what is happening on his system.
