Make sure that Excel has been "registered" by opening Excel and accepting
the EULA. Don't believe that IV9 is Office2007 compliant. Check your McAfee
to make sure that all IV files are ignored. Some A/V software requires it to
be disabled at the "Services" level. Check for any Microsoft "hot-fix's"
that might have been installed over the last number of days.

Inventor 9 will hang the computer for about 5 minutes on opening up the
application. The cpu usage during this time is about 60-70%. SP4 has been
installed. OS is XP sp2 with IE7, McAfee 8.5, Office 2007. Specs are Core2
Duo, 2gb ram 160gb HDD, Nvidia 5500. OS set up with Novell Client 4.92 (NDS
Domain), software is network version. The application was working fine and
now is causing hanging, no changes to system software.
Tried reinstalling/removing no good.
I have tried installing/using with antivirus disabled no good.
Removed Office, IE7 and Adobe products, no good.
Any suggestions would be helpful
