Inventor 8 newsgroup survey

Some of you have asked, "When will the Inventor 8 newsgroup start?"

Good question. Before I answer I would like to collect some opinions from
the group. It has been over a year now since the Inventor newsgroup was
split based on product release (R6, R7.).

I am interested in you answers to the following questions.

1.. Do you like separate product release newsgroups?
2.. Do you think that a current group (R8) and a legacy group (<8) would
be a positive change? This would mean that we would go to:
a.. Autodesk.Inventor.8
b.. Autodesk.Inventor.legacy
Thanks for your support! Feel free to reply here.

The last new topic in the legacy group was 11/13. Prior to that it was
10/13 and that was my FAQ. It's not very busy at all.

Sounds good to me also, Rory. Sometimes it takes a bit of time before we get latest release installed, especially with the viewing software(VVE, AEV, DWF)in flux as it has been.

I would prefer separate newsgroups for R8, R7, R6 and then legacy Inventor
