Inventor 2015 fails to install

Hi,

I'm trying to install a 30 day trial copy of Inventor professional. This is the manually downloaded executable (save to disk) rather than the online streaming installer which also fails.

All firewalls and antivirus software has been turned off before install. However, it appears the installer refuses to see my internet connection.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is Your OS is Windows 8 or 8.1? if yes, please refer to the following link "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2734782" to solve the .Net Framework 3.5 failed installing on Win8 problem.

Method 3: Use Windows installation media

You can use the Windows installation media as the file source when you enable the .NET Framework 3.5 feature. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Insert the Windows8/8.1 installation media.
2. At an elevated command prompt, run the following command:
   Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:<drive>:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess
   Note In this command, <drive> is a placeholder for the drive letter for the DVD drive or for the Windows 8 installation media. For example, you run the following command:
